Shared Life Lines is a collection of sketches featuring migrant families from around the Waikato.
Mila balances the use of line movement and watercolour to portray emotion, capture scenes and tell stories.
“Everyone has a story and is a valuable member of society. We are all heroes inhabiting the same land.”
Mila is an artist and architectural designer who has been drawing and painting from a young age.
Originally from Brazil, her artwork ranges between pure watercolour paintings and drawings featuring “punches” of watercolour.
“I want my art to touch people and make them think about places and the human condition.”
